Hiking trails marked with markings and equipped with educational boards lead from Opatija to Veprinac and Učka, providing visitors with the opportunity to explore nature and learn about local traditions. Educational trails in the hinterland of Mošćenička Draga and in the Učka Nature Park offer additional opportunities for recreation and learning about local culture. One of the best promoters of outdoor sports, the beauty and richness of nature and the hinterland of Mošćenička Draga is certainly the 'Ultra Učka Trail' race - a unique combination of sea and mountain, Mediterranean climate, diverse forest vegetation, blue and green.

Surfing on tramontana, sailing the Kvarner waters or exploring the coast by kayaking or on a sup board – all these activities offer a completely new view of the Opatija Riviera from a sea perspective that you can experience in Ičići or Lovran. The feeling of freedom and excitement as it glides on the waves or calmly sails through the crystal clear waters of the Adriatic Sea is incomparable to any other experience.
